How it works

AI music creation workflow

Turn a song idea into two tracks you can actually compare

Start from the input that matches the way your idea arrived: a written music brief, lyrics you created, or an image with a visual mood. MakeMyClip turns that direction into two song options so your first decision is between real musical interpretations, not an empty project.

  • Use plain language for the concept, emotion, instrumentation, energy, vocals, and recording feel.
  • Bring your own lyrics when the words must stay yours, or switch to Instrumental when the track needs no vocal direction.
  • Continue from the selected song into cover art or a short AI music video inside the same creator workflow.

Practical creator examples

Start with a job you want the output to finish

01

Build a track from a creative brief

Describe an intimate electronic-pop song for a late-night release, name the instruments and emotional lift, then compare two complete musical interpretations of that direction.

02

Put original lyrics into a song

Paste lyrics you wrote, label the sections when structure matters, and choose the genre, mood, vocal, and recording direction that should carry the words.

03

Translate a visual mood into music

Upload an image you are allowed to use, explain what the scene should sound like, and use the image as the creative starting point for two song options.

How it works

Three clear steps inside MakeMyClip

  1. 01

    Choose how the idea starts

Open Description, Lyrics, or Image mode. Give MakeMyClip the clearest source material you have and explain the intended moment, audience, or emotional change when it helps the direction.

  2. 02

    Shape the musical boundaries

Select available genre, mood, vocal, recording, and instrumental controls. Keep the choices coherent so the generation has a strong musical center instead of competing instructions.

  3. 03

    Generate, compare, and continue

Create two track options and listen for arrangement, energy, lyric fit, and identity. Keep the stronger direction, then download it or continue into eligible cover-art and video actions.

Pricing and access

Generation uses the live credit rules shown in the studio

The current generation action shows the credits required for the request. Subscription benefits and included credits can change by plan, so use the live pricing page and the studio balance as the source of truth before creating at volume.

  • Review the input and available controls before starting a credit-consuming generation.
  • Each accepted request returns two track directions for comparison when the current workflow supports it.
  • Use the pricing page to compare live plan periods, included benefits, and creation capacity.

Current limits

Creative direction improves the result; it does not make it deterministic

AI music generations can interpret the same prompt differently. MakeMyClip helps you narrow the space with inputs and controls, but it does not promise an exact melody, vocal performance, arrangement, or production outcome from a written request.

  • Only provide lyrics and images you created or otherwise have the right to use.
  • Avoid requests to copy a living artist; describe musical qualities and the intended feeling instead.
  • Review the applicable terms and the finished result before using generated music in a commercial release.

Questions

Common questions

What can I use to start an AI song?

You can start with a written description, lyrics you created, or an image you are allowed to use. Each mode gives the generator a different kind of creative starting point.

Does MakeMyClip generate more than one song option?

The current song-generation workflow is designed to return two track options from one request so you can compare different interpretations before choosing a direction.

Can I create instrumental music?

Yes. In supported input modes, turn on Instrumental to remove the vocal direction and focus the request on the music, mood, genre, and production qualities.

Can I turn a generated song into a music video?

Yes, when the completed song is eligible for the current Video Studio workflow. Choose the track, add an authorized photo and scene direction, and review the live video requirements before generation.
